Established in 1968 with the foundation bitch Ch Never Complain Miss Mischief U.D., Can. C.D., Karefree has continued to breed quality Dalmatians with emphasis on breed type and soundness with sound “eager to please” temperament and trainability. Karefree is located near Reading, Pennsylvania.

Over the years Nancy Reiter (and her husband Bruce until his death in 1990) achieved over 60 titles both here and in Canada.

Nancy has remained actively participating in conformation and obedience. She has served as the Dalmatian Club of America's Obedience Chairperson and Show Chairperson for the national specialty and is a founding member of the Delaware Valley Dalmatian Club where she has served as president, secretary, treasurer, and on various committees. In addition, she served as trainer and board member, newsletter editor and trophy chairperson for her local obedience club, the Berks County Dog Training Club; also as president, treasurer and board member of the Berks County Kennel Club.
